This site collects nothing about you.

What I collect

Nothing. There is no analytics on this site — no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Meta pixel, nothing. There are no cookies. There are no accounts, no newsletter and no contact forms, so there is nowhere for you to enter anything even if you wanted to.

You do not have to take my word for it. This site ships zero JavaScript, and the fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google, so the pages make no requests to anyone else at all. Open your browser's network tab and you will see only variancebro.com.

That is also why there is no cookie banner. A site with no cookies does not need consent for cookies.

What happens anyway

Server logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request details in order to serve the page to you and to protect the site from attacks. I do not have a dashboard of visitors, and I do not use this for analytics. It is a technical necessity of the internet working, and it happens whether or not I want it.

Links to poker rooms

When you click a link to a poker room, you leave this site. From that moment the room's own privacy policy applies, not mine, and I have no say in it. Poker rooms are gambling operators and they collect a great deal — identity documents, payment details, play history. Read their policy before you sign up, the same as you would with a bank.

The room does learn that you arrived through me. That is the whole mechanism by which a deal gets attached to your account, so it is not incidental. What I receive back from the room is commission reporting, not your personal details.

The redirect links on this site, the ones under /go/, are plain static pages that forward you onward. They run no script and record nothing.

Discord

If you message me on Discord, that conversation happens on Discord's platform underDiscord's privacy policy. I will see your Discord username and whatever you choose to tell me — typically which room you are interested in and roughly what stakes you play. I keep what I need to arrange and track your deal, and nothing else.

What I do not do

• I do not sell, rent or share anything about you, because I do not have anything to share
• I do not run advertising, retargeting or audience pixels of any kind
• I do not email you unless you have messaged me first
• I do not use dark patterns, countdown timers or fake urgency

Age

This site is for adults. Gambling is 18+ or older depending on where you live, and nothing here is aimed at anyone younger. If you are under 18, this site is not for you.

Your rights

Privacy law in most places gives you the right to see what a site holds about you, to correct it and to have it deleted. In my case the answer to the first is nothing, which makes the other two straightforward. If you have messaged me on Discord and want that conversation deleted, ask and I will delete my side of it.

Changes

If I ever add anything that changes this — analytics of any kind, a form, an embed — I will change this page and the date at the top of it first, not afterwards.
