Which iPoker skin? NordicBet vs Betsson vs RedStar vs Champion Poker
NordicBet, Betsson, RedStar and Champion Poker all sit on Playtech's iPoker network, so the tables, the player pool and the European-evening peak are the same at all four. What differs is the brand around the tables: NordicBet's anonymous cash games and Trustly, Betsson's mixed games and dated client, RedStar's native Mac client and cashout fee, Champion's rake chase and slow withdrawals. Pick on those, because the poker is shared.
What the four share
Playtech's iPoker network is the product. The four brands here are skins on it: they sell access to the same tables, the same pool and the same schedule under different logos. Traffic is deep through the European evening across most stakes up to the mid range, Hold'em and Omaha carry the room, and the network's fast-fold game, its three-handed hyper-turbo and the jackpot tournament series run everywhere.
So comparing them on the poker is pointless. Compare them on what the brand adds and takes away.
NordicBet
The structural choice is that cash tables are anonymous. Recreational players cannot be identified or hunted, so they stay in the pool and the games are softer for it. The cost is yours too: a HUD works within a session and collects nothing that survives it. Tournaments are normal.
The tournament schedule is the strong part, with more than four million euro guaranteed across a month. The client is a desktop build plus a browser version that works on phones. There is no dedicated app.
Trustly and Interac are in the cashier alongside cards, Skrill and Neteller, and Trustly is the standout if you are in a Nordic market. The welcome offer is mission-based and modest rather than a deposit match. NordicBet page.
Betsson Poker
Betsson's distinction is the widest mixed-game spread on this site. Omaha hi-lo, stud, razz and draw all run. If you play anything beyond the two main games, look here first.
PokerTracker 4 and Holdem Manager 3 both work. The client is an older generation and nobody claims otherwise. There are no large guaranteed tournaments, and the room is closed to more than fifty countries including the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia.
Cashier: Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, ecoPayz, Paysafecard and Trustly. Betsson Poker page.
RedStar Poker
RedStar has run on iPoker since 2005 under a Curacao licence, which makes it the oldest brand on this site. Two things set it apart.
It has a native macOS client, which Champion does not. And Holdem Manager, PokerTracker and Hand2Note all work with full HUD support.
The catch is the cashier. RedStar charges a cashout fee on every withdrawal and crypto carries a charge both ways, so fewer, larger cashouts work out better. Rake at the micro stakes is high by network standards, table selection is restricted, and the loyalty scheme has two levels with the second needing a monthly target to reach and hold. The value sits at mid stakes and up. RedStar Poker page.
Champion Poker
Champion is the recent brand, under a Curacao licence, competing for players on a network that was already mature. That shows in the promotions: a four-level cashback ladder with a monthly rake chase stacked on top, a weekly race on the hyper-turbo format, and a large guaranteed weekly tournament.
Two things are objectively poor. There is no native macOS client, so Mac players get the browser or an emulator. And withdrawals have high minimums on most methods, with USDT on TRC20 the sensible exception, and the room quotes a floor of seventy-two business hours to process one. The client has a reputation for occasional crashes. The tracker policy is not confirmed.
Cashier: Bitcoin, USDT on TRC20 and ERC20, Ethereum, Skrill, Neteller and Pix. Champion Poker page.

Which to pick
Nordic banking or a preference for anonymous games: NordicBet. Mixed games: Betsson. A Mac, or a full database: RedStar, and take money out in chunks. A Windows Hold'em player chasing rake races who withdraws rarely and in size: Champion.
All four have extensive country restrictions. Check yours or ask me and I will check it for you.
Common questions
- Are the games the same at every iPoker skin?
- Yes. The tables belong to the network, not the brand. A cash game at NordicBet is the same game, with the same opponents, as at Betsson, RedStar or Champion. What differs is the client build, the cashier, the loyalty layer and whether the brand adds anything like anonymous tables.
- Which iPoker skin is best for Mac?
- RedStar, which has a native macOS client. Champion Poker is Windows only on desktop, and NordicBet and Betsson offer a browser version rather than a Mac app.
- Which iPoker skin is best for Nordic players?
- NordicBet, on banking. Trustly and Interac are in the cashier and Trustly is usually the fastest, least awkward bank route in the Nordic markets. Betsson also takes Trustly.
- Can I use a HUD on iPoker?
- At Betsson and RedStar, yes, with PokerTracker and Holdem Manager working at both and Hand2Note at RedStar. At NordicBet a HUD works but cash tables are anonymous, so nothing persists past the session. Champion Poker's policy is not confirmed.
