I will be straight with you about this one. Poker Planets is the smallest room on this site and no rakeback arrangement changes that. The games
Poker Planets launched in May 2025 under a Curacao licence, and its player pool comes out of the PokerStars Sochi base. The client runs in Russian and English. That tells you most of what you need to know about who you will be sitting with, and the pool is recreational.
The format list is broader than the traffic justifies: Hold'em from micro up to mid stakes, Omaha including the five-card form, a three-handed hyper-turbo, a fast-fold game, and a tournament schedule running from freerolls up to a couple of hundred dollars with progressive knockouts and mystery bounties.
One detail in your favour. Tables run from five to eight-handed and buy-ins are capped in big-blind terms rather than left open, which keeps deep-stacked specialists off your table. For a recreational or micro-stakes player that is a real structural advantage and very few rooms offer it.
The client covers Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and the browser, and it has its own HUD showing the standard preflop statistics and a hand counter.
What to know before you deposit
It is small. Peak cash traffic is in the low hundreds of connections and it concentrates hard at the bottom of the Hold'em ladder on six-handed tables. Above those stakes you are waiting rather than choosing, and on a quiet afternoon you may not get a game at all. Treat this as a room you add to a rotation.
It is also new. A room that opened in 2025 has no long payout history. That is not an accusation. It is a reason to keep a smaller balance here than you would somewhere that has been paying for a decade.
Third-party trackers are blocked, and the room does not accept players from the United States or China.
Deposits and withdrawals
