Unibet's own rewards are a quarterly loyalty ladder with a bonus-points multiplier, plus step rewards and missions. There is no single figure that describes that honestly, which is why this page does not put one on the hub.
How Unibet's own rewards work
Unibet pays you back through several mechanisms, and only one of them behaves like a rate.
The base is a level ladder. Every cent of rake earns a point. Points move you through 34 steps across 7 levels. From level 2 you unlock a bonus-points multiplier on future rake: 3% at level 2, then 4%, 6%, 10%, 14%, and 18% at level 7. Bonus points convert at 100 = €1, and you spend them on tickets and playthrough bonuses in the shop.
The reset is worth understanding before anything else. Levels and XP clear every quarter, on 1 January, April, July and October. Finish at level 6 or 7 and you carry the 14% or 18% multiplier into the next quarter from day one, while restarting at level 1. Finish below that and you start at zero. A steady quarter beats one heavy month at the same total rake.
On top of the ladder sit step rewards as you climb, playthrough bonuses, and missions and challenges. Cash, tickets and bonus points unlock as you go.
Stack those at the top, including the carry-over, and you get the up to 60.5% figure Unibet advertises. The constant multiplier alone tops out at 18%. Reaching level 7 takes roughly €14,500 of rake in a quarter on their published table. Everything above that 18% is rewards you unlock by climbing and by completing missions.
The scheme is reasonable. The headline is the problem. Someone paying a couple of hundred euro of rake in a quarter is not getting sixty percent and never could.
Sweden, Belgium and the Netherlands are excluded from monetary loyalty rewards. Denmark runs a different system.
The rake structure matters more here than the rewards do, and it is the most player-friendly on this site. Unibet inverts the usual arrangement: the lowest stakes pay the lowest rake, climbing as you move up, with a permanent cap at every level. Almost everywhere else, micro-stakes players pay the highest effective rate in poker. Here they pay the lowest.

The games
Unibet runs its own independent network under a Maltese licence, which means a real regulator with a complaints route behind it.
The whole room is built around protecting recreational players, and unusually for that claim, it is true. Players can change their screen name up to three times a day. You cannot observe a table before joining it. Auto-rebuy is disabled. Tables are capped at eight seats, four at the smallest stake. All third-party software is banned.
The effect is that weak players cannot be identified, tracked or hunted. They lose more slowly, they come back, and the pool stays soft. It is the same mechanism as anonymous tables, applied more thoroughly.
Two formats exist nowhere else on this list. Banzai is short-stack Hold'em with a very low rake. Hexapro is the three-handed hyper-turbo with extended blind levels, so the jackpots run larger. Alongside those, standard Hold'em and Omaha, a tournament schedule, and a small sit-and-go offering.
The client is Unibet's own, with 3D avatars, on Windows plus proper native apps for iOS and Android.
What to know before you deposit
Every feature that makes the games soft also constrains you. No HUD, no database, no table selection, no auto-rebuy, and a hard cap on how many tables you can play at once. If your edge comes from volume and information, most of it does not survive here.
Cash games stop at mid stakes, so this cannot be a main room for anyone above that. Traffic is solid rather than large. And the country restrictions are extensive, covering more than sixty jurisdictions, so check yours before you go further.
Deposits and withdrawals
Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, PayPal, Paysafecard and bank transfer, with a minimum deposit around thirty euro. PayPal is unusual for a poker room and worth knowing if the other routes are difficult for you.
Common questions about Unibet Poker
- Why are the games at Unibet soft?
- Because the room is designed that way rather than by accident. Players can change screen name three times a day, you cannot observe a table before joining, and all tracking software is banned. Recreational players cannot be identified or hunted, so they stay in the pool.
- Can I use a HUD at Unibet?
- No, and this is enforced rather than discouraged. All third-party software is banned outright. If your game depends on a HUD, Unibet is the wrong room for you and it is meant to be.
- How does Unibet's rake work?
- Inverted from the usual: the lowest stakes pay the lowest rake, rising as you move up, with a permanent cap across all levels. That is the opposite of most rooms, where micro stakes pay the highest effective rate.
- How does Unibet's loyalty work?
- A quarterly ladder of 34 steps across 7 levels. From level 2 you earn a bonus-points multiplier on future rake, 3% rising to 18% at level 7. The 60.5% Unibet advertises stacks step rewards and missions on top of that, and reaching level 7 takes about €14,500 of rake in a quarter.
- What are Banzai and Hexapro?
- Banzai is short-stack Hold'em with a very low rake, and Hexapro is Unibet's three-handed hyper-turbo with extended blind levels. Neither exists anywhere else on this site.
